The February 15th program, “Immigration to the Upper Midwest,” by Dr. Lori Lahlum has been postponed to Saturday, February 22 at 1 p.m. This program is $10/person and open to the public.

The new BECHS History Book Club is a quarterly book club that goes beyond a classic group book read and discussion. Over three months, while participants read the book, additional monthly sessions will include discussion of the book’s setting and social history, a special presentation on a related historical topic, and conclude with a group book discussion. Individual programs are $10/person.

BECHS History Book Club Sessions: The Children’s Blizzard

February 22, 1 p.m. – Special guest, Dr. Lori Lahlum, Professor of History at Minnesota State University, Mankato, will present “Immigration to the Upper Midwest”.

March 15, 1 p.m. – Final session is The Children’s Blizzard group book discussion with prepared Q & A.
