No Injuries Reported in Crash Near Green Isle Township
On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at approximately 7:31 p.m., the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 371st Avenue and 170th Street in rural Green Isle Township, Sibley County, Minnesota approximately 2 miles north of the City of Green Isle.
It was learned that Roxane Engelmann, age 70, of Green Isle, Minnesota, was traveling northbound on 371st Avenue and was attempting to turn left onto 170th Street. At the same time, a Juvenile, of Green Isle, Minnesota, was stopped at the stop sign on eastbound 170th Street. The Juvenile attempted to cross 371st Avenue and collided with Engelmann’s vehicle. Engelmann was driving a 2015 Buick Enclave and she was wearing her seatbelt. The Juvenile was driving a 2002 GMC Sierra pickup truck and was also wearing his seatbelt.
Neither driver reported any injuries. The Buick sustained moderate damage to the driver’s side door, while the GMC sustained minor front-end damage. Both vehicles were operable and were driven from the scene.
