City of Saint Peter Receives Grant from Mankato Clinic Foundation
The City of Saint Peter has received a $1,000 grant from the Mankato Clinic Foundation to support the 2025 Fall Music Series, a program that brings live musical performances to the Saint Peter Community Center for local senior residents.
The Fall Music Series is part of the City’s Senior Center programming, designed to encourage social connection, enjoyment, and well-being through the arts. The events are organized and promoted by the Recreation and Leisure Services Department and are open to all senior community members.
“We’re thankful to the Mankato Clinic Foundation for their continued support of this community program,” said John W. Stutzman, Director of Recreation and Leisure Services. “Music has a unique way of bringing people together, and this series gives residents the chance to connect, enjoy great company, and experience performances from talented musicians across Minnesota.”
The Fall Music Series is also supported by a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. The $6,000 grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council and the $1,000 grant from the Mankato Clinic Foundation allow the City of Saint Peter to provide the Fall Music Series at no cost to our residents.
