NSIC Quarterfinals,
5th seed Augstana beats 4th seed Minnesota State 15-14
MSU was up 9-7 heading into the top of the 6th when the Vikings would score 5 in the 6th and 3 in the 7th to go up 15-9. With 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, Hannah Tong (Sophomore from Stacy MN) would hit a grand slam, and Izzy Hycnar (JR from Phoenix AZ) would add a solo shot, to pull MSU within 1. MSU wraps up the season with a 33-22 record
UMAC Tournament opening round
2nd seed Bethany 2, 3rd seed UW Superior 0. Vikings are now 30-9, and will face Northwestern (St Paul) in the Winners bracket in St Paul at 11 today
College Baseball
NSIC Conference tournament in Sioux Falls
2nd seed Minnesota State 15, 6th seed Winona State 8. Mavericks were down 7-1 heading into the bottom of the 4th, Mavericks would trail 7-6 in the bottom of the 7th when they would score 3 runs, and then add a 6 spot in the bottom of the 8th. MSU is now 39-12 and will face Top seed Augustana in the Winners bracket final at noon today in Sioux Falls.
