Community Grant Program accepting applications
The Community Grant Program offers grants up to $2,500 for individuals and small organizations and up to $5,000 for large organizations to support efforts that make Mankato a more beautiful place to live.
There are three categories:
- Community Performing Arts and Music: Enhance public performances in various genres of music and performing arts
- Community Beautification and Public Art: Beautify and improve the community and public spaces.
- Community Social Services: Provide social services that enhance the quality of life and independence of service to recipients/clients.
Individual residents and not-for-profit organizations located in Mankato are eligible for consideration. Grant applications are due Friday, Feb. 6. The above link has application instructions and contact information.
