(Bloomington, MN)  —  The Bloomington community is showing its support for a teen who suffered a devastating injury during a high school football game.  A CaringBridge site set up for Ethan Durkin Glynn says the impact from a tackle during a Bloomington Jefferson ninth grade football team game Friday night left him paralyzed from the shoulders down.  His parents say he “has a long road ahead of him but he is a fighter.”  An official with the Bloomington Public Schools tells KARE that what happened was “a sudden and tragic incident.”  Officials say district counselors will be available at Jefferson High School today to support students and staff impacted by the event.
