County Road 15 (Main Street E.) Road Closure in St. Clair Starting April 20th
County Road 15 (Main Street E.), between County Road 28 (Agency Street) and County Road 15 (185th Street), in St. Clair will be closed to thru traffic for reconstruction beginning April 20, 2026. The segment of County Road 173 (Main Street E.) between Miller Lane and Pilgrim Street will also be closed. Drivers should expect this portion of County Road 15 (Main Street E.) to be closed until September 2026. Thru traffic on County Road 15 (Main Street E.) will be detoured via County Road 49, County Road 23, County Road 28 and Hwy 83.
This reconstruction project includes water main, sanitary sewer, house services, storm sewer, subsurface drainage systems, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalks, and bituminous pavement. The top layer of pavement will be completed in 2027.
Residents and landowners are encouraged to contact the Blue Earth County Public Works Department to coordinate access concerns with the County and the Contractor, BCM Construction.
Rural garbage pickup for McPherson Township will be temporarily moved from the McPherson Town Hall to the Blue Earth County – St. Clair Maintenance Shop (about 900 feet east of McPherson Town Hall on County Road 15). Access to the garbage pickup will be from the east via County Road 15 or County Road 173.
