County Road 82 (Victory Drive) Road Closure Beginning May 5th

County Road 82 (Victory Drive), from Marwood Drive to Extension Street in Mankato, will be closed for reconstruction beginning May 5, 2025. Main Street will also be closed to traffic at the Victory Drive intersection during this time.

Thru-traffic on County Road 82 (Victory Drive) will be detoured via Hoffman Road, MN Hwy. 22, and Madison Avenue. Thru-traffic on Main Street will be detoured via Hosanna Drive, Hoffman Road/Glenwood Avenue, and Bruels Street.

Motorists should expect these portions of County Road 82 (Victory Drive) and Main Street to be closed until late August 2025.

This project includes storm sewer improvements, concrete curb & gutter, concrete pavement, bituminous trail replacement, traffic signal replacement at Main Street, and lighting upgrades.

This project is a joint project with the City of Mankato.  Blue Earth County is leading the project and handling the contract details.  Residents and landowners are encouraged to contact the Blue Earth County Public Works Department to coordinate access concerns with the County and the Contractor, W. Lorentz and Sons Construction Inc.
