Dollars for Scholars Chapter Announces Scholarship Recipients
The Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars chapter today announced recipients of its annual scholarships.
“The Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars chapter is a volunteer organization. 100% of donated scholarship monies are awarded to our local students,” says Frank Brandt, President of the Mankato Area Dollars for Scholars chapter. “This year we are proud to award a total of more than $17,000 in scholarships to local students pursuing a college education.”
Recipients of the Academic Performance scholarships of $1,000 each are:
- Molly Koester, Mankato Loyola High School
- Jada Silversten, Mankato East High School
- Nora Sipe, Mankato East High School
- Leigha Behnke, Mankato East High School
- Aubrey Britz, Mankato East High School
Recipients of the Community Service scholarships of $1,000 each are:
- Ella Barker, Mankato East High School
- Madison Bomstad, Mankato East High School
- Mitchell Buboltz, Mankato Loyola High School
- Grace Mackie, Mankato West High School
- Michael Roach, Mankato West High School
- Jaxson Zimmerman, Mankato West High School
Recipients of the Christian Service scholarships of $1,500 each are:
- Adalynn Lurken, Mankato East High School
- Teya Waagner, Mankato Loyola High School
Recipients of the $1,000 Monarch Healthcare Senior Care Scholarships are:
- Malia Karau, Mankato East High School
- Molly Ruona, Mankato East High School
Recipient of the $1,500 Matthew Buryska Scholarship, awarded to a student who has a speech/hearing challenge, is:
- Taylor Reuter, Mankato East High School
