Four Cross-Country Runners Taken To Hospital For “Heat-Related Issues”
(Stewartville, MN) — Four cross-country runners at a meet in Stewartville are undergoing treatment after being taken to the hospital for “heat-related issues.” Official say eleven girls experienced heat-related issues during or just after yesterday’s race at Bear Cave Park. Officials say some of the girls reported feeling dizzy and some fainted. No updates have been released regarding the girls who were taken to the hospital. Officials say temperatures were in the 80s in Stewartville yesterday, with very little wind.
