Give to the Max Day 2022 in Minnesota is TODAY
Give to the Max Day 2022 is here (Thursday). It is the state’s largest 24-hour online fundraising campaign for thousands of schools and non-profits. Give MN Deputy Executive Director Jenna Ray says the first event in 2009 was intended to be a one-time launch party:
“To celebrate the new giving platform, Give MN-dot-org. And turns out that Minnesotans have continued to show up, have continued to come together to celebrate generosity and now 14 years later here we are with an annual giving holiday that is so much bigger than any one digital fundraising campaign.”
You can make a donation at give-mn-dot-org and many organizations are matching gifts today. More than six thousand schools and nonprofits received 34 million dollars from Give to the Max Day last year.
