Hosanna Honored with MRCI’s Community Impact Award for Outstanding Partnership and Support
MRCI is proud to announce Hosanna as the recipient of the Community Impact Award, recognizing their partnership and exceptional contributions to MRCI’s Community Day Services since its launch in January 2021.
From the very beginning, Hosanna has opened its doors and its heart to MRCI participants across all seasons. Whether it’s providing warm indoor space during the coldest winter days, offering vibrant gathering areas in spring and summer, or simply sharing time and kindness, Hosanna has been an ally in creating inclusive, enriching experiences for individuals with disabilities.
Hosanna’s generosity extends far beyond space. Their willingness to provide access to a wide range of facilities: from kitchens for cooking activities to foosball tables for recreation which have created countless opportunities for learning, laughter, and connection. These everyday moments have become meaningful memories for MRCI participants and staff alike.
Equally impactful is the genuine sense of community fostered through the relationships built with Hosanna’s staff. Their warmth, encouragement, and willingness to engage have helped create a welcoming environment where MRCI participants feel seen, valued, and supported. These authentic connections have made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
One of the unique collaborations includes the formation of the MRCI Choir, made possible by Hosanna’s talented staff who volunteered their time and musical gifts. Their support has brought joy, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
“Hosanna exemplifies what it means to be a true community partner,” said Mark Dehen, MRCI Board President. “Their consistent support, creativity, and compassion have made a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to inclusion and community.”
The Community Impact Award celebrates organizations that go above and beyond in supporting MRCI’s mission to create innovative and meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities. Hosanna’s dedication stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when community comes together. The past recipient was Fareway Foods in Fairmont, MN for their 10+ year employment partnership.
