Iowa Gov. Reynolds in MN today, campaigning for Scott Jensen

Washington-DC-based Republican Governors Association is bringing Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds to Minnesota today (Mon 6:30 to 8 p-m) to campaign for Republican candidate for governor Scott Jensen.  State GOP Chairman David Hann says:

“The Governors Association has taken an interest in this race, which is historically unusual in Minnesota.  So that’s good news.”

Minnesota Democratic Party leaders have not commented.  Former President Donald Trump endorsed Jensen last week, but Jensen’s campaign downplayed it, and state Republican Party leaders have signaled they’re not interested in Trump coming to Minnesota before the election.
