- A deer is blamed for causing a crash near Cannon Falls that sent a Rochester woman to the hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Jailee Henderickson was driving south on Highway 52 around 9 pm Sunday when she struck the deer. Henderickson was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The report shows alcohol was not involved.
- This is Minnesota State Patrol Day (Mon 10-2) at the Capitol. The event includes live drone demonstrations, interactive displays, and a chance to meet our state troopers. They will be showing off the State Patrol’s new twin-engine helicopter, which is equipped with a hoist system for rescues. The new State Capitol K-9 explosives detection team is there, and vintage Minnesota State Patrol vehicles are on display.
