Lake Crystal Man Dies in Rollover Crash Sunday
On 04-20-25 at 12:36 am deputies responded to a rollover crash just north of Good Thunder on 552nd Avenue. The 911 callers said someone was trapped under a truck and appeared deceased.
Preliminary investigation suggests 21-year-old Jacob Richard Farrell of Lake Crystal was the driver and only occupant of his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. The pickup was traveling north on 552nd Avenue prior to rolling into the field east of the roadway and landing on its roof.
Jacob was confirmed to be deceased at the scene after being partially ejected and trapped under the truck. The incident remains under investigation with assistance from the MN State Patrol.
