Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Fatal Road Rage Shooting

(Minneapolis, MN)  —  A man convicted of killing a youth baseball coach during a road rage incident in Plymouth is getting life in prison.  A judge sentenced Jamal Smith today.  Smith was found guilty by a jury in July of first and second-degree murder in the death of Jay Boughton.  The shooting happened on Highway 169 when Boughton was driving home from a baseball game with his son in July of 2021.
