Mankato Area Public Schools Mankato East Planetarium Production Club to Present NASA Film Collaboration on December 5

The Mankato Area Public Schools Mankato East Planetarium Production Club will present a NASA film that the students helped develop. The program will highlight what astronauts must consider during the journey to Mars and will explore mission planning and the challenges that arise long before landing on the Red Planet.

Guests will also experience a flight through the universe using the planetarium’s immersive projection system. The show will include a tour of the current Mankato night sky and a look at visible stars. An update on comet 3I Atlas may also be part of the program.
