Mankato Area Public Schools to Host “One Stop Shop” Enrollment Event for Families
Mankato Area Public Schools (MAPS) will host a One Stop Shop event on Tuesday, August 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Mankato East High School, designed to help families prepare for the upcoming school year with ease.
This drop-in event is open to all MAPS families and provides personalized assistance with a variety of essential back-to-school tasks, including:
- Enrolling new students
- Completing online census verification for returning families
- Submitting address changes (verification is required)
- Signing up for middle and high school sports (grades 6–12)
- Applying for educational benefits
- Registering for Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and Community Education classes
“This is a great opportunity for families to get all their registration and enrollment needs taken care of in one convenient location,” said Amanda Heilman, MAPS Director of Business Services. “We want to make it as easy and welcoming as possible for families to start the year ready and supported.”
District staff will be on-site to answer questions, provide support with online systems, and ensure families have access to the resources they need. No appointment is necessary.
