Mankato Clinic Foundation announces grant recipients during quarter four
To support health and wellness in our region, the Mankato Clinic Foundation has approved $87,500 in grants to community organizations during quarter four.
Grants approved in quarter four are:
- Lutheran Social Services – LSS Meals Program for Seniors ($5,000)
- Mankato Youth (MY) Place – 2025-26 school year programming ($10,000)
- Mankato Youth (MY) Place – Funding for a mental health specialist position ($50,000)
- Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial School – School-wide Positive Behavior Program ($2,500)
- House of Hope – Mental health staffing to expand addiction services ($10,000)
- Saint Peter Recreation Department – Fall Music Series for Seniors ($1,000)
- CADA – Sexual Harm Support Group ($3,000)
- Good Counsel Learning Center – Individualized Tutoring for youth and adults in literacy, numbers and civics ($6,000)
Mankato Clinic physicians provide the majority of the foundation funding as a way to give back and support organizations that strive to improve health and wellness in the communities they serve. In the last 10 years, the Mankato Clinic Foundation has provided more than $2 million in scholarships and grants to worthwhile organizations and programs.
Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and are considered through an application process. More information and applications can be found at www.mankatoclinic.com. The next grant application deadline is December 1.
