Mankato Juvenile in custody for weekend stabbing
On Sunday, May 4, at 7:37 p.m., Mankato police officers responded to the area of 2nd Street and Adams Street on reports of a stabbing. The 18-year-old male who had been stabbed arrived at the hospital on his own without assistance of emergency responders. The victim was treated for serious injuries but is reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male in connection to the incident and they are not seeking any additional suspects at this time. This remains an active investigation and anyone with information or potential video surveillance related to the incident is encouraged to call 911.
