Minnesota DNR Adds 15 New Conservation Officers in 2023
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is welcoming 15 new conservation officers in the new year. Officials say they all assumed their new stations last week following more than seven months of intensive training. D-N-R Colonel Rodman Smith says,”our natural resources are Minnesota’s crown jewel, and our conservation officers are on the front lines of working to ensure future generations have the same or better outdoor opportunities than we have today.” Many of the 15 new conservation officers have law enforcement experience.
