North Mankato Police investigate possible overdose death

North Mankato, Minn, On August 15th, 2022, at 11:03 p.m. North Mankato Police were summoned to a residence on the 300 Block of Page Ave. for a report of an unresponsive male. 

Officers arrived and were informed by the caller that the subject may have “used something”. Officers performed CPR and administered NARCAN, but lifesaving attempts were unsuccessful. A 22-year–old Mankato man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the subject is being withheld pending family notification. 

An autopsy will be conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner‘s Office.
