Police Shoot, Kill Attacking Dog In Hastings

(Hastings, MN)  —  Police say officers in Hastings have shot and killed a dog that was attacking its owner and her daughter.  Officials say the woman’s Pitbull bit her daughter yesterday, then went after her when she stepped in.  Authorities say the daughter called 911.  The woman and her daughter were taken to the hospital, where the mother had surgery.  Police say the daughter’s injuries weren’t as “extensive” as her mother’s.
