Public Works Departments Prepare for Winter

Public Works employees from all over the state were in St. Cloud this week attending the Fall Maintenance Expo.  Organizer Kaitlyn Heid says it’s an opportunity for city, county, and state maintenance and transportation employees to gather ahead of the winter season and learn about the latest in winter equipment:

“This would be our about our 27th year running and we showcase indoor and outdoor vendors and it gives a place for the city counties and state township employees to come and get continuing education and walk around and enjoy the show.”

Organizers estimate over 3,000 people attended the two-day expo.
