Search Warrant in Sibley County Leads to Drug Seizure and Arrest of Winthrop Man

On August 19th, the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Winthrop Police Department, executed a narcotic related search warrant at the address of 213 S Nicollet St in Winthrop, MN.

This search warrant was in conducted in relation to an investigation led by the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office and assisted by the Winthrop Police Department into Michael Lee Doering and his involvement in the possession, use, and trafficking of controlled substances in the Winthrop area.

During the execution of that search warrant approximately 14.2 grams of methamphetamine was located and seized.  Michael Lee Doering was arrested and charged with 3rd degree possession of a controlled substance (over 10 grams of methamphetamine).
