State Fair Reaches Goal Of 200 Police Officers
(Ramsey County, MN) — The Minnesota State Fair will have the security it needs to operate safely. Word from State Fair Police Chief Ron Knafla is that they have reached their goal of 200 police officers to work the fair. Just a week ago, the chief said they were more than 100 officers short of that goal. With the help of the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and other agencies, the chief says he feels much better about the fair from a safety perspective.
