Stevie Wonder, Stevie Nicks Tribute Show Sunday, April 27, at the Capitol Room, St. Peter

More than thirty local musicians form the cast, band, and chorus of STEVIE: Pageant & Singalong Nation Performs Stevie Wonder and Stevie Nicks, a one-time live music event on Sunday, April 27, at The Capitol Room, 419 S. Minnesota Avenue, St. Peter, with doors opening at 4:00 p.m. and a
4:30 p.m. show time.

Established in 2016, “Pageant & Singalong Nation” is the Arts Center of Saint Peter’s community music program providing supportive rehearsal and performance opportunities for newcomers. There are no auditions. Singers at all levels are welcome, and soloists are chosen after the group becomes familiar with the music and newcomers have had opportunities to self-nominate for solos of their choice.

Soloists making their Pageant & Singalong debut with STEVIE are Kelsey Bigbee (Mankato) on “Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours),” Lindsey Beyer (North Mankato) on “Landslide,” Sophie Hoiseth (Mankato) on “Stop Dragging My Heart Around,” Signe Jeremiason (St. Peter) on “Rhiannon,” Alaena Klages (Mankato) on “Sir Duke,” and Oziel Javier Hidalgo Nieto (St. Peter) on “My Cherie Amour.” Soloists and chorus members also include Gordon Aase, ARK, Julie Dempster, Chris Dorn, Ann Fee, Jill Fischer, Cara Gorman, Cheri Guentzel, Gail Heaberlin, Cathy Kaliski, Rachel Maccabee, Jenn Melby-Kelley, Lisa Noll, Linda Schmidt, Bianca Wilson, and Jill Zoet of Mankato; Sarah Frahm of North Mankato; and Barbara Brindle, Gretchen Hildebrandt, April Johnson, Clark Johnson, Lori Pietz, Rob Pietz, and Emily Stark of St. Peter.

The Pageant & Singalong Band is Jeff Ford (guitar), Alyssa Lynch (flute), Shelley Pierce (bass), Scott Rahe (drums) and Federico Sagolpa (keyboards), with guest horn players from the Govenaires Drum & Bugle Corps on several tunes, under the direction of Ryan Shirk of North Mankato.

Prior to the performance, four dress rehearsals will be open to the public on Wednesdays, April 2, 9, 16, and 23, 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Patrick’s on Third in St. Peter. Admission is free, and seating is limited.

Tickets to the April 27 show are $10 plus fees in advance at artscentersp.org, or $20 at the door, pending availability.
