Stolen Dog Recovered in Sibley County
On August 10th, 2025, the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen dog in the rural Henderson area that has been missing since August 7th, 2025. It was learned through a nearby neighbor sighting the dog in a FedEx truck.
Follow up investigation was done with FedEx to locate the driver. The dog was taken back into custody and reunited with its owner. Case has been submitted to the Sibley County Attorney’s Office for charges.
The Mankato Department of Public Safety assisted at the scene.
