Tickets on Sale for United Way’s Kentucky Derby-Themed Fundraiser: May 3
Tickets are available now for Greater Mankato Area United Way’s inaugural Run for the Roses: A Kentucky Derby Fundraiser, 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at Chankaska Creek Ranch, Winery & Distillery.
Individual tickets are $100. Register online at www.MankatoUnitedWay.org/roses.
The event benefits Greater Mankato Area United Way’s youth mental health focus.
Run for the Roses features games, activities, heavy hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails (including mint juleps), live music by the Amy Manette Band, and a viewing of the race on a 12’ x 7’ outdoor screen. Non-alcoholic drinks available. Horses will be onsite for attendees to learn about the Unbridled Faith program’s equine mental health therapy.
Kentucky Derby outfits are encouraged.

4:00: Live music by the Amy Manette Band
5:57: Watch the race on the outdoor jumbo screen! We will also recognize the attendee with standout
style.
7:00: Game prize drawing! Win a Canterbury Club House Experience, donated by Steve
Weisbecker. Includes 4 live racing admission passes for 2025 season, a reserved table on 3rd-
floor club house level, and menu/cocktail service.
8:00: Event concludes
