U.S. Bank Stadium May Get New Permanent Fence
(Minneapolis, MN) — Talks are underway to put up a security fence around U.S. Bank Stadium. The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority board voted this week to move forward with the project and to explore fencing options. The MFSA is looking to get estimates on the cost to create a “permanent secured perimeter.” A fence was first recommended by the Department of Homeland Security in 2016. The design and development process is expected to take about a year, with construction following.
