Update: Missing Saint Peter Regional Treatment Center Patient Located

Mankato-Missing Saint Peter Regional Treatment Center patient Jesse Nikolas Rowland has been located. Rowland was taken into custody by law enforcement and placed into the care of the Minnesota Department of Human Services for return to the hospital.

The Mankato Department of Public Safety is actively working with the Minnesota Department of Human Services to locate Jesse Nikolas Rowland, age 31. Rowland is a court committed patient at Saint Peter Regional Treatment Center and is mentally ill and dangerous.

Rowland was on a supervised group community outing and was last seen at the River Hills Mall, 1850 Adams Street, around 2 p.m. today. Rowland was last seen wearing blue shorts, a blue hooded sweatshirt, black shoes and glasses with a darker frame. He has brown hair in photo provided; however, it may be blonde, which is how he appeared today.

The public is asked to not approach Rowland and instead are encouraged to call 911 should they see him or someone matching the description. This is an active investigation and Public Safety is pursuing all leads to locate Rowland.
