Walz, Jensen blast each other’s education agendas during final debate
Governor Tim Walz and Republican challenger Scott Jensen each blasted the other over their education agendas during Friday’s final debate on MPR, Walz saying Jensen has spent time on litterboxes in schools:
“He is more concerned about this fake Internet rumor than getting guns out of schools, than providing teachers the mental health they need.”
Jensen fired back Minnesota K-12 education is in trouble not because of lack of dollars, but where they’re being deployed:
“Tim Walz policies of locking kids out of school was incredibly damaging.”
Walz contends it saved lives. Jensen says other states safely reopened schools so kids could learn.
