Walz Wants Jensen, Birk To Release Tax Returns

Governor Tim Walz is calling on Republican opponent Scott Jensen and Jensen’s running mate Matt Birk to release their personal income tax returns.  Former state Senator Jensen and former center for the Minnesota Vikings Birk have given no indication that they intend to do so.  Birk questioned whether people cared about the issue at an event in Minneapolis late last month.  Walz released his documents in April.  Candidates for governor have a history of releasing their returns.
