Mankato Police arrest four suspects in connection with shooting at residence
At approximately 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, Mankato police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Agency Road following reports of gunshots. While enroute, another 911 caller indicated that two males wearing masks fired numerous shots at his residence. Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries. While officers were conducting their investigation on Agency Road, 911 dispatch received another call involving a suspicious vehicle on Redwood Drive with hazard lights flashing. The caller was able to provide authorities with a license plate number.
As a result of having that information, officers were able to locate the vehicle parked at the owner’s address. Officers found a firearm in the vehicle and individuals matching descriptions provided by 911 callers were also located at the address. Four suspects were arrested in connection with the incident. Formal charges will be determined by the Blue Earth County Attorney’s Office.
Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Anyone who believes they may have property damage related to this incident is encouraged to call 911.
