Community Invited to United Way Night at Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm: Sept. 18

Community members and businesses are invited to Greater Mankato Area United Way’s 2026 Campaign Kickoff & Bean Bag Tournament in Waseca from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, September 18 at The Mill Event Center.

Team slots are still available. Teams of two players; $100 per team. Please contact Diane Beckmann at 507-835-9899 to register.
Community members are welcome to attend and cheer on the teams. Appetizers provided by Mis Tres Flores.
Kickoff is presented by Cinch Connectivity Solutions, FM Bank, Keen Bank, The Mill Event Center, and United Prairie. Support by Kwik Trip and Thrivent.

After the Tournament, all are welcome to attend United Way Night at Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm, from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
What: 5th Annual Waseca Bean Bag Tournament & United Way Campaign Kickoff

Why: Greater Mankato Area United Way’s 2026 campaign goal is $2,450,000 to support 75 programs and initiatives in Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties. Each spring, more than 90 community volunteers review and vet all programs as part of United Way’s annual community review process to ensure donor dollars are being used wisely and efficiently. Greater Mankato Area United Way programs and initiatives serve 65,000+ people annually through basic needs, health and education.
