Fatal Rollover Crash in LeSueur County

LeSueur County deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle rollover on April 1 around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of 360th Street and 221st Avenue in Lexington Township.

The initial investigation indicated a 2011 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Mahwa Hassan Adoch, 20, of LeSueur, was traveling eastbound on 260th Street and lost control while entering a curve to travel northbound on 221st Avenue. The vehicle appeared to have left the roadway on the east side of 221st Avenue, striking a ditch embankment and rolling over. Adoch was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by LeCenter Ambulance Service to Mayo Clinic Health Systems New Prague where she died as a result of her injuries.

Responding agencies included LeSueur County Sheriff’s Office, LeCenter Police Department, LeCenter Ambulance Service and LeCenter Fire Department.
