Groundbreaking Ceremony at Wrestling Brotherhood’s Indoor Wrestling Facility
Wrestling Brotherhood, a Mankato-based nonprofit wrestling club, will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its new year-round training facility, the Schwickert’s Tecta America Wrestling Center, at 1430 2nd Avenue in Mankato on Monday, September 29th at 11:30 am. Community members, athletes, families, and supporters are invited to attend. The new facility advances the organization’s mission to “provide wrestling opportunities for all
ages and bring competitors together to train to reach elite performance level.”
Located near the corner of Spruce Street and 2nd Avenue, the site is planned to open this winter and is designed for growth, from serving dozens of local wrestlers today to accommodating up to 300 athletes with expanded programming once complete.
“This facility is about more than mats and walls, it’s about building character, accountability, and brotherhood that lasts a lifetime,” said Clint Adams, Wrestling Brotherhood coach and board secretary. “Wrestling has always been a catalyst for growth in our community, and this
space helps us reach more youth, more families, and more future leaders.”
