Janesville Man Taken to Mayo Clinic Health System with Life Threatening Injuries after Crash

A Janesville man sustained life threatening injuries in a crash Thursday. The crash occurred at 9:14 AM on Thursday at the intersection of HWY 169 and Blue Earth County Road 13 in Garden City in Blue Earth County. A 2018 Ford Escape driven by Anthony Paul Staloch of Janesville, was travelling east bound on County Road 13. A 2024 Freightlinr semi driven by Joshua William Krieger of Cedar Falls, IA was south bound on highway 169. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Staloch was transported to MCHS Mankato with life threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and roads were covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash. Assisting at the scene was the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office.
