Minnesota House Bill Aims to Protect Elections, Local Officials
A bill in the Minnesota House aims to protect local election administration and keep our elections safe. Representative Emma Greenman of Minneapolis says we need to show our 30 thousand election officials and poll workers:
“That this conduct, threats, interference, intimidation is unacceptable. We can say clearly that intentional interference or tampering with machines and our voter list will not be tolerated.”
Greenman says election workers have become the targets of increasing threats and harassment over the last three years. The bill passed the House Elections committee.
