Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is gearing up for one of the most popular travel times of the year–the long MEA weekend. Airport spokesman Jeff Lea(Lee):

“We’re seeing projections of upwards of 36,000 people going to the checkpoints checking in at the counters and then going through the checkpoints both Wednesday and on Thursday and then it’ll level off.”

Lea is urging air travelers to arrive two hours in advance of a domestic flight or three hours in advance of an international flight.
