This fall, Spectrum teamed up with TeamSnap to support the Mankato Area Girls Fastpitch Association to ensure local kids and families enjoy youth sports right here in Mankato.

Through a new multi-year agreement with the #1 youth sports management platform with 25 million users, Spectrum helped provide resources, funding, and memorable experiences for young athletes and their families. That means more kids on the field, new gear in their hands, and even scholarships for those who need a boost to play the sports they love.

“Teaming up with TeamSnap is truly a home run for us,” said Rudy Schoevers, Field Operations Supervisor for Spectrum in Mankato. “So many of the families we serve in Mankato, including many of our own employees, spend their evenings and weekends at fields, gyms, and courts cheering on their kids. We are looking forward to supporting those moments that bring families and neighbors together.”

Mankato is one of 185 cities and towns nationwide where Spectrum and TeamSnap are making youth sports more accessible this season. Together, they will sponsor more than 720 leagues through 2027 – helping reduce costs for families, provide scholarships, and deliver equipment that keeps the game fun and fair for all.

“Partnerships are vital to keep our program affordable for families throughout Mankato,” said Ryan Kapsner, President of the Mankato Area Girls Fastpitch Association. “This fall, we were able to offer 13 competitive teams of various age groups due to continued sponsor support, including the generous donation from Spectrum.”

From the first whistle to the final buzzer, Spectrum and TeamSnap are here to make sure kids have what they need to play, grow, and shine on and off the field.
