Temporary Closure of North Riverfront Drive Scheduled for Thursday, December 26

Starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 26 a portion of north Riverfront Drive (between E. Main and Plum Streets) will be temporarily closed for the Makatoh Reconciliation and Healing Horse Ride and Dakota Exiles Ride. The horseback ride begins around 9 a.m. in Land of Memories Park, 300 Amos Owen Lane, and continues onto Highway 169. Riders cross the southbound lanes to the first exit onto the northbound lane of Riverfront Drive to make their way to Reconciliation Park, 100 N. Riverfront Dr. Once at the monument site, the northbound and southbound lanes of Riverfront Drive (between Main and Plum streets) will be closed until the completion of the ceremony.
