South Central College (SCC) will once again celebrate the next generation of skilled professionals during its 11th Annual National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Letter of Intent Signing Day this March. Part of a nationwide initiative created by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), this event recognizes students who are committing to education paths that lead directly to high-demand careers.

SCC will host Signing Day at its Faribault Campus on Tuesday, March 3, and at its North Mankato Campus on Thursday, March 5. During the ceremony, students will sign a letter of intent securing their place in their chosen program—mirroring the excitement and recognition typically reserved for athletic signings.

Thanks to the generous support of the South Central College Foundation, every participant will receive a scholarship of at least $500, with some students qualifying for a Minnesota Workforce Development Scholarship worth up to $2,500.

SCC offers more than 40 career and technical programs across fields including agriculture, arts and information technology, building and design, business, health sciences, human services and education, manufacturing, and transportation. Students planning to begin one of these programs in Fall 2026 are must register for the event by Friday, February 20 at www.southcentral.edu/Sign.

This year’s Signing Day is made possible through the valued partnership and sponsorship of ISG, Monarch Healthcare Management and Snell Motors.
