Grand jury indicts A’Quan Kaishaid Laurence Thornton

A Blue Earth County grand jury indicted A’Quan Kaishaid Laurence Thornton on two counts in the November 9, 2025, murder of Muridi Hassan Hussein. The indictment includes counts of murder in the first degree and murder in the second degree.

According to Jeremy Clifton, Director of Mankato Department of Public Safety, “We support the grand jury’s decision and thank our Public Safety staff and partners for their continued commitment to holding violent offenders accountable. Gun violence will not be tolerated in our community.”
