Le Sueur Woman Killed in Vehicle Accident in Kelso Township Saturday
On November 22, 2025 the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a person who had exited a vehicle and then was struck by the vehicle. The incident took place near the intersection of 391st Avenue and 310th Street in Kelso Township. The incident took place when Melissa Davidson (46) of rural Le Sueur exited a vehicle driven by Jeremy Davidson (48) of rural Henderson. At some point Melissa was possibly struck by the vehicle which resulted in substantial injuries. Law Enforcement and other first responders arrived on scene and provided medical attention to Melissa. Melissa was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Jeremy was taken into custody at the scene for Criminal Vehicular Homicide and is currently being held at the Sibley County Jail.
The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office is being assisted by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in the on-going investigation. Other agencies who assisted with the response to the incident were the Minnesota State Patrol, Henderson Police Department, Henderson Fire and Rescue, Arlington Police Department, Winthrop Police Department, Le Sueur Police Department, Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, Arlington Ambulance, Arlington Fire Department, and Le Sueur Ambulance.
