Mankato Community Stepping Up to Support Family After Monday Fire
Support is pouring in for a Mankato family that lost two children in a duplex fire.
The GoFundMe page says Deanna Lenzen remains at Hennepin Healthcare, receiving treatment in a hyperbaric chamber. Lenzen’s one-year-old daughter Annika and six-year-old son Aiden died in the fire on Monday morning. Her nine-year-old daughter Jazmine, was rescued by Deanna’s boyfriend. Her father told reporters Deanna ran into the bedroom to try and save Annika.
More than one hundred twenty five people have donated over fifty-nine hundred dollars to Lenzen’s family so far.
