Mankato Public Safety seeking assistance in identifying suspect involved in an assault incident

In the early morning hours on Sunday, January 19, Public Safety responded to the 100 block of Walnut Street for a report of an assault. Upon arriving, officers found the victim suffering from serious injuries. The suspect had already left the area before law enforcement was called.

Several security cameras caught images of the suspect who is a white male in his late teens to early 20’s, brown hair, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing between 180-200 pounds.
