Greater Mankato Area United Way’s annual Women with Heart Luncheon, the first pledging event of the annual fundraising campaign, is sold out.

The event has a record of more than 825 registrations.

Women with Heart takes place 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 6 at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center. Presented by Pioneer Bank, this year’s luncheon theme is “My Piece, Our Purpose.” Keynote speaker Kris Langworthy of Impact Zone Strategies will speak on finding your purpose and making an impact.

The event includes lunch, door prizes and powerful discussion as women unite to make a difference.

The 2025 Women with Heart chair is Samantha Kaul of Century 21 Atwood.

Further opportunities for discussion and connection include a Pre-Event Social from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Civic Center lobby and the annual After Party from 1 to 3 p.m. at Number 4.

The support from Women with Heart attendees is vital to Greater Mankato Area United Way’s campaign, which launched in Mankato on July 29.

Last year, more than 750 women attended Women with Heart, pledging over $260,000 to the campaign. Greater Mankato Area United Way’s 2026 campaign goal is $2,450,000 to support 75 programs and initiatives serving more than 65,000 people in Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties.
