Blue Earth County Mental Health Center Approved as a VA Community Care Provider

Blue Earth County Veteran Services and Human Services are excited to announce that the Blue Earth County Mental Health Center has been approved as a VA Community Care provider.  Prior to this approval, veterans had limited access to in-person psychiatry services. 

Any veteran enrolled in VA health care can request to be seen by Blue Earth County Mental Health Center clinicians in Mankato in person or via tele-health.  The Mental Health Center focuses on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illnesses.

As a VA Community Care provider, the Blue Earth County Mental Health Center can bill the VA directly for ongoing mental health services when the veteran is enrolled in the VA Health Care System. The Blue Earth County Veterans Service Office can assist veterans with this process.
