Dispose of Pumpkins at Mankato’s Organics Recycling Drop-off Locations
-Dispose of pumpkins at one of two organics recycling drop-off locations in Mankato:
- Public Works Center, 501 S. Victory Drive
- Sibley Park, 900 Mound Ave. (near the Sibley Park Pavilion)
There is no fee for Mankato residents to use these facilities. Organics recycling and composting helps reduce waste and disposal costs, creates new nutrient-rich material, reduces food waste going into garbage disposals, conserves landfill space and reduces methane in landfills.
